What inspired you to launch your own website?

Hope that more people would come across it and discover our store

When did you launch your first website, and what was it?

Last year, this was my firstone

How did you decide on a name for your website?

Just names it after the store, figured that would be easy to remember

What makes it different from other, similar offerings?

I have a page for my hair bow designers to access info pertainant to them.

What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)

Grow my business sotre front and online large enough to employ several mothers so that they can bring their children to work with them (our store is very child friendly!)

How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?

I have only had the business aobut 8 months, so I am still at the pointof putting money in, but it's lookin up!

If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?

I would put all my inventory online as well as in the store and open up several other sites.

If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?

yes, I am very resourceful, and then I could quit my real job. lol!

What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?

mostly just having to buy fixtures and supplies to get going

What has been your biggest challenge?

Money, just having enough money to get everythign needed and pay the bills

What method has been most successful for promoting your website?

haven't really promoted web site , usually more the store than website, the web site is a compliment to my store

How has running your website differed from your expectations?

just takes more time tha I have to devote, but it's fun!

How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?

I will keep it as long as I have my shop.
